Welcome to our service for August 16th 2020. Today we’re continuing to journey through Acts as we reach Chapter 6. In the story we’re looking at today, there is a dispute about fair food distribution and we find the Apostles commissioning seven men, chosen by the Church, for the crucial ministry of serving. It might be news to you that serving is a crucial ministry, or it might not, but it’s clear how important the Apostles thought it was.
We will be sharing Communion this morning. If you’d like to take part in it when the time comes, please make sure that you have bread and wine or juice nearby.
This week’s craft activity is to create Chatterboxes. If you don’t have a Church craft pack, you can download the template here ready for Sunday morning. You’ll need to print it out beforehand if you can though.
