It seems hard to believe but Lent is just around the corner. This year, this strangest of all years for many of us, it feels especially important to take the time in Lent to pause, to pray, to reflect and to (re)turn once again to God. Whether we’re full of joy, sorrow or something in between, the Book of Hebrews has plenty to teach and remind us about the greatness and power of Jesus, as well as the regular reminders it contains about not ‘falling away’ or turning our back on God and ceasing to trust Him.
Bishop Donald has prepared seven half-hour studies in the Book of Hebrews to take us through the season of Lent. You can download the video or audio from the table below

We will be suggesting that House Groups use these materials through Lent.
If you are not so familiar with the Book of Hebrews, here are a couple of resources which I hope will help. One is an introductory video which you can watch below
I’m thankful to Bishop Donald and The Bible Project for these resources and hope that they point us all to Jesus in the coming weeks.
We will be continuing to gather for prayer for an hour from 7.30PM each Monday evening in Lent too. Do get in touch to ask for the details for those Zoom meetings if you would like to join us.
