Who can quite believe that Advent is around the corner? I certainly can’t. On the last Sunday before Advent begins, the Church Calendar brings us to a day called Christ the King. What a great thing to celebrate before we move in to a period of waiting and preparation, both for Christmas as we remember Jesus’s birth and also as we look forward to His promised return.
Today we are excited to have Paul Lavender from Mount Pleasant Baptist Church speaking at our service. It is great to welcome him as he speaks on Psalm 110. It’s especially exciting for us to continue to develop closer links with local Churches so that we can forge ever-deeper partnerships with each other.
Once the service is complete a recording of it will be posted here
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this morning’s service. Krissy has again provided an invaluable craft activity. To get a head-start with the activity, watch the video below.
Krissy has offered some Discussion Questions for today. You can find those below

We are continuing to pray for our nation and to pray for the government and our leaders as they are constantly faced with challenging decisions which need to be made and which will often be unpopular. Do join us in this. We are watching and waiting for information regarding when Churches may be able to gather together face-to-face again. As soon as we know more, we will let you all know and make necessary arrangements. In the meantime I hope that you will enjoy joining with us online as we worship apart but together.
