Welcome to the page for our Sunday Worship for May 10th 2020. Today we are looking together at John 21. This is an exciting set of stories. In the first one, an unsuccessful fishing expedition is transformed into a miraculous catch. This showed God’s power, provided food for those who needed and helped those fishing to put food on the table too.
Later in the same chapter we find Jesus asking Peter three times ‘do you love me?’. Peter becomes increasingly frustrated at having to repeat himself. Shouldn’t saying yes one be enough? But Jesus has big plans for Peter’s restoration as a key part of his family.
Thanks to all who have contributed to the preparation of our worship materials for this week.
