Several people have prepared material for this service. Maureen Luke (Precious) offers the following thought for Palm Sunday:
‘What Does Palm Sunday Mean To Me – Precious
Jesus displayed a humility that was at the heart of His ministry and it was even more evident as he rode into Jerusalem. He had nothing to prove because He knew who He was and why He was sent.
As I think about Palm Sunday, I am grateful.
Grateful that he didn’t turn back, grateful that He knew what was coming and went anyway, grateful that he loved me enough to complete His journey. I never want to take the sacrifice He made for me for granted, but appreciate every moment what it cost Him in order that I might have life. That is definitely Good News worth sharing!’
Things For Children and Families
Krissy Cressey has put together some excellent resources for children and families again. Thank you to her.
Prayers and Other Elements Of the Service
Peter Angus offers us these opening prayers for our service
James Fearnley offers us the Confession, as well as some helpful pointers to what we believe as Christians.

The intercessions Ken Clark provided will be viewable here:
Ken has offered the notes for a sermon on Palm Sunday. Do read and reflect on them.
Songs
Here are the words to the songs we’ll be singing today.
One of the songs is brand new – written last week – here’s a video of Haydon singing it in case you want to spend time with it before Sunday.
Remember, if you’d like to give to the work of our Group of Churches, you can do via Emmanuel’s Local Giving Page
Whatever you’re doing this Sunday, we hope you have a lovely day.
Please speak up. I gave up last night.
Happy anniversary, Haydon and Jo.
